How does resort airline check in work? I am flying with jet blue and will have to pay for my checked bags. Can i still use resort airline check in or can i only do it at the airport?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie!

I absolutely adore the convenience of Resort Airline Check-In service, one of the many benefits offered to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Not having the hassle of dragging luggage to the airport for check-in is magical indeed!

Guests flying participating airlines, such at JetBlue, may check their luggage through to Orlando International Airport as well as obtain boarding passes at the Resort Airline Check-In desk. The Resort Airline Check-In desk functions pretty much just like curbside check-in at the airport except it is conveniently located right at your Resort Hotel! Your luggage will be weighed and tagged before being transported to the airport for you. I am happy to let you know that you may use this service even if you will need to pay baggage fees. If you have not pre-paid your baggage fees with your airline, plan on calling (407) 284-1231 to pay any baggage fees with a credit card prior to bringing your luggage to the Resort Airline Check-In desk. Also plan on tipping as you would if you checked your luggage curbside at the airport. The Resort Airline Check-In desk is open daily from 5:00 am to 12:00 noon. Guests must check-in no later than 3 hours prior to their scheduled flight. You can store any carry-on bags with Bell Services at your resort until your departure time. Once you have your bags off your hands, you are free to enjoy the rest of your departure day before heading to the airport.

    Enjoy your stay!
