I have a FL resident seasonal pass. What are the 2015 blackout dates? Thank you

Hello, Tricia! So happy to see another Floridian stop by to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Like you, I have embraced the Walt Disney World Florida Resident Seasonal Pass! My husband and I had them for years before our son was born, and we've recently re-joined the ranks now that our boy is a little older. It's so much fun to visit (almost) any time we want.

You can think of the blockout dates as hitting three basic times of year: Easter, summer and Christmas. Remaining dates for this year are March 28 - April 10 for Easter; June 8 - August 13 for summer; and December 17 - January 3, 2016 for the Christmas holidays.

There's a handy calendar on the Walt Disney World website that shows all of the blockout dates for the year. Green means go, gray means wait just a little while longer.

Did you know that as a Passholder, you can make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance? We've been having a lot of fun lately choosing FastPass+ experiences for an upcoming weekend, then hopping over to the parks for a few hours to hit a few must-dos (or sometimes a few new-to-us attractions, too!).

Hope your family has lots of fun future visits to Walt Disney World with those Seasonal Passes, Tricia. Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
