    Linda from FL Asked

I am a FL Resident and a Annual Passholder. My 2 grandchildren who are 5 years old are currently living with me. Can I purchase the Florida Resident tickets for them and if so, what will I have to show for proof so I can take them with me to the Parks?

Hello, Linda! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I always love to chat with fellow Florida residents!

Walt Disney World requires proof of Florida residency for all adults purchasing Florida Resident Discount Tickets. Children are not required to have proof of residency as long as the adult buying the tickets has the proper documentation. If you buy your grandchildren's tickets online, you'll likely need to pick up the tickets at Guest Relations at one of the parks or at Downtown Disney, and show your proof of residency then. If you do order online, you should see the tickets in your My Disney Experience account, so you can go ahead and start making FastPass+ selections for you and your grandchildren up to 30 days in advance.

I hope this helps you enjoy lots of fun Disney days with your precious grandchildren, Linda. Please stop back by if we can be of any further assistance.

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
