I would like to reserve several princess meet and greets @epcot or my daughter using FP+. Do we both need FP+ reservations? Or just my daughter? This will be our first WDW visit under new system. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Michael ~

It sounds like you are planning a perfect princess vacation!

The new MyMagic+ (MM+) experience which includes the new FastPass+ (FP+) service at Disney World has really changed things over the past few months. It is still in a testing phase and things are continuing to change as they work to make Guest experiences more enjoyable for everyone.

Each Guest (3 years of age or older) entering the FastPass+ line will need a FP+ reservation time. They will scan your MagicBand or card twice: once when you enter the line and once closer to boarding a ride, entering an attraction or Meet & Greet location that offers FP+. If you and your daughter want to enter, you will both need a FP+ reservation.

If you have MagicBands, you will tap your MagicBand (the part with the Mickey on it) to the Mickey head on the touch point to enter. Just remember Mickey to Mickey. It is really cool to watch the Mickeys on the touch points light up (even little things excite me).

Keep in mind that there may be additional changes to MM+ and FP+ along the way.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
