If I reserve 2 rooms ( 4 people each) , do you think that I can upgrade to table service DP one of the rooms and go to a table restaurant the 8 of us together and pay with the room key that have the table services? We want to go to Chef Mickeys.

    Hi Vanessa,

I like the way you think.  Your plan sounds like a great way to pay for your meals at Chef Mickey.  You are correct that Disney Dining Plan credits are assigned by room.  If you have guests staying in two separate rooms, each room can have its own Disney Dining Plan.  The two rooms in your group do not have to the same plan.  If you get a plan including table service credits, you are welcome to pay for all eight dinners at Chef Mickey's with the credits from one room.  Just let your server at Chef Mickey's know that you'll be paying for all eight meals from the same Key to the World card (room key).

Don't you just love the flexibility of the Disney Dining Plan?  Thanks so much for your question.
