We have reservations at Ft. Wilderness Cabins in March. We will be purchasing our 3-day MYW tickets from AAA and then linking them to our WDW account. Can we customize/order our magic bands now or do we need to wait to link our tickets to this account?

Hi Aimee, Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have good news! Yes, when booking a rooms-only Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation, you may personalize your MagicBands as soon as you have your confirmation number. To do this, log in to your My Disney Experience account and click the 'My Disney Experience' tab. From that drop down, look for 'MagicBands and Cards.' Here you'll be able to customize each band in your party with everyone's preferred color and name. (Or nickname!)

Once you purchase your tickets, you can link them from that same My Disney Experience tab, this time under 'My Reservations and Tickets.' Don't forget to link your tickets at least 61 days before your trip as you can start making those ever important FastPass+ reservations right at 60 days before your visit. (And while you're logged in to your My Disney Experience account, check out all of the awesome dining options that will be available during your trip.)

I hope picking out your MagicBands helps your family get that much more excited for your upcoming vacation! Thank you again for reaching out to us, Aimee, and we'll see you real soon!
