Hi, if we have reservations to Savi’s workshop to build a lightsaber, does that guarantee entrance into the land if it’s at capacity? Curious how that works since if you are a no show there’s a cancellation fee. Thanks

Hi there, Heidi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

The wait is just about over! You are just a few short weeks away from experiencing the adventure of a lifetime! On August 29th, 2019, the long-awaited Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be opening to the public at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guests visiting will be able to enter into the planet of Batuu and explore the Black Spire Outpost. This will include interacting with a variety of native characters, sampling some deliciously unique foods, and even piloting the Millennium Falcon on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run!

One of the other experiences Guests will find during their adventures is crafting their own lightsaber at Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers! Guests will need to covertly find the elusive workshop to avoid the gaze of the First Order and enter at their own risk. Once there, you will be able to assemble your personal lightsaber from a variety of mythical and salvaged materials. This is definitively an experience unlike any other!

Guests with reservations to Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers will be able to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge an hour before their reservation time. Just be on the lookout for a Cast Member that can assist you in finding the right line to enter this all-new land!

I hope this information assists you as you prepare for your vacation to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World Resort!
