We have reservations at 1900 Park Fare at 6:45. We also want to do Wishes Dessert Party (shows at 9 on May 11th). What would happen if we were late to the Wishes Dessert Party due to dinner? We desperately want to do both.

    Dear Rachel,

Thanks for reaching out to us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your scheduling question!

I totally understand the desire to do and see everything during your time at the Walt Disney World Resort!

There's nothing wrong with arriving on the later side for the Wishes Dessert Party (except that that gives you less time to taste the delicious sweets!), and I especially understand your desire to be there on May 11th, which is the final night that Wishes Nighttime Spectacular will be available in the Magic Kingdom. The only thing I would be concerned about for you is whether you will feel rushed. I always try to think about things taking way more time than they would ordinarily when it's the last night of something.

So if for example you don't get seated at dinner until maybe 7, and then you order, even if you don't have appetizers or dessert, you're still looking at at least 8pm before you are finished and out the door. Then you have to go upstairs at the Grand Floridian to the monorail (and I'm sure that for the last night of Wishes the crowds may be large), and then get to the Magic Kingdom, through security, and walk up to Tomorrowland Terrace for the dessert party through the crowds who will be waiting. I'm not saying that it's not doable, but I would be concerned if it was my family that everything would feel rushed and if one little part of the plan broke down, you would miss the final Wishes. I would much rather make a dinner reservation somewhere inside of the Magic Kingdom and then just be able to walk over to Tomorrowland Terrace and enjoy the full hour before the show to eat my desserts. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I hope it helps!

    Have a magical day!
