Mom and Child wearing Magic Bands

We have reservations in November. I am 66 and will not riding. We will get FastPasses. If my grandkids use their FP and want to ride that ride again, can they use my FP? I'm not really sure how the FP works. Thanks!

    Hi Denise!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We have experienced something similar recently.  My youngest son has decided he no longer wants to ride some of the roller coasters.  He always THINKS he will want to, so we make him a FastPass+ reservation, but when we get there he changes his mind.

Luckily, his older brother is extremely generous (sarcasm!) and offers to use his FastPass+ for him.  What has worked for us is to let older brother simply borrow younger brother's MagicBand to use for the ride. We always go to the FastPass+ entrance at the attraction to explain what is happening, but they have always told us it's fine. So, you can make FastPass+ reservations and then let your grandkids borrow your MagicBand for any that you choose not to ride.

Just so you know, you don't have to choose the same FastPass+ reservation as everyone in your party. Each person can choose the experiences they want ... so you may want to choose attractions that you will enjoy.  Here is a link to some Frequently Asked Questions about using FastPass+ at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
