I have reservations at 8:35 for Liberty Tree Tavern, I made a Fast Pass for Splash Mountain for 9:10 to 10 . Park closes at 10. Do you think we could make it?

    Hey, Christine!

Thank you for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The simple answer is yes and you don't have to hurry like the White Rabbit from Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland to enjoy Splash Mountain.

I would suggest arriving at Liberty Tree Tavern at 8:25 p.m. just in case they can take you early, if not then don't sweat it. Your meal will take 45-60 minutes total. If you want to be super-efficient then look through the online menu prior to arriving so you are ready to order. As long as you are in line by 10:00 p.m., you will be singing zip-a-dee-doo-dah for the rest of the evening. FastPass+ reservations at Walt Disney World Resort usually begin 5 minutes and end 15 minutes after the posted time on your FastPass+ reservation. For example, an 11:15 a.m. reservation would begin at 11:10 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Yep, instead of just 60 minutes you have 80 minutes. The walk between Liberty Tree Tavern and Splash Mountain is less than 5 minutes.

Disney Dad Tip: Disney Cast Members will allow you to stay in line and finish your attraction if you are in line when the park closes. So whatever attraction you are in line for at 10:00 p.m. is your last one. Maybe you could get out of Splash Mountain before 10:00 p.m. and jump into line at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This is one of the best rides to do at night.

Enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort, Christine!
