Do you have to make reservations to eat at certain restaurants?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ruth!  This is a great question!  Although Advanced Dining Reservations are not required at most Walt Disney World restaurants, they are recommended. Quick-service restaurants do not accept Advanced Dining Reservations; however, most table-service restaurants do. It is not uncommon for the most popular dining locations to have little to no availability weeks in advance. I have been fortunate a few times in finding last-minute availability at a table-service restaurant, but prefer to have an Advanced DIning Reservation in order to prevent any disappointment or unnecessary wait. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions or would like any dining recommendations. I hope you have a magical day, Ruth!
