Do we have to have reservations for dining? We tried to book a reservation at Coral Reef but it states it does not have any available times. Can we show up and add our name for a table?

    Stacey,

You absolutely can go up to the podium of any table service restaurant and put your name in for a table. I did this just last month at Boma for breakfast, which when I tried to book online allegedly had no slots available. I didn't wait 10 minutes.

HOWEVER, anyone with an Advanced Dining Reservation is going to get seated ahead of you, and you have to be prepared for this, and should not let it get under your skin. You will get an idea for how likely it is that you will be able to get a table in a reasonable waiting time when you get there, and can decide if you want to pass on it or not.

One other thing. Have you called the reservation line? It sounded like you tried the online system, but you might find the "personal" touch of calling might find you a slot when the online version did not. Just call 407-WDW-DINE, and give it a shot. Also call when you get here, as late cancellations might have opened up a spot as well!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
