    Karissa from MI Asked

I want to make reservations to dine with princesses. It seems that I have 3 different options- Cinderella's Castle, a location in Epcot, and another at a hotel. Sorry! I am still getting down the names here. :) My question is what is the best expereince?

    Hello, Karissa!

There are several character dining options which include the princesses,  all of which are truly wonderful.  However, each one is designed with a different concept in mind (in my opinion!)

First, Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is a wonderful place for Guests to dine with Cinderella, Prince Charming and friends, without having to use Park Tickets.

Next, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is perfect for those who wish to meet a variety of princesses and plan to be in Epcot during their trip.

For a truly exceptional locale, of course, Cinderella's Royal Table enables Guests to not only dine and meet the princesses, but also to do so in Cinderella's Castle, which is an honor (and a photo op!) in an of itself.

If you are one the Dining Plan, you'll have to consider the added "cost" of dining in Cinderella's Castle, since this experience requires two Table-Service entitlements. If being in the castle for this experience isn't too important to you, then you'll have a very similar experience at Akershus, for only one Table-Service entitlement.  Should you wish to meet Prince Charming, 1900 Park Fare is the place to do so.

For our own upcoming trip, we opted for a breakfast at Akershus. We decided that dining and meeting the princesses was most important, and that the extra meal entitlement required for dining in Cinderella's Castle isn't worth it this trip.  If you are not on the Dining Plan, however, compare the cost of each and decide if eating in Cinderella's Castle is worth the added expense. Only you can tell that! (By the way, both Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table include a professional photo with a princess with each package.)

Please send any additional questions you may have as you plan your upcoming trip! I'd love to help!
