We have reservations for Dec and we are moving to FL in August. Will we be able to change our reservations and get the FL resident price for our tickets once we move or are we still going to have to pay regular price even though we will be residents?

    Hi Rochelle,

December is really a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. It is our family's favorite time to visit and experience the whole resort fully dressed for the holidays.

Florida residents enjoy some excellent perks, such as Special Florida Resident Ticket & Passes, and some amazing Special Offers with discounts and great rates for select Disney Resort hotels. At this time, there no offers available for the end of the year, however, keep an eye for new specials.

Magic Your Way Vacation Packages require payment in full 30 days before arrival, and if you cancel by that time, you will receive a full refund. Room-only reservations must be paid in full by the time you arrive, and can be canceled up to 5 days before check-in to avoid penalties. Note that if you booked via certain internet sites, you may be subject to their cancellation fees. If you purchased separate Theme Park Tickets, these are non-refundable, however you can apply the cost towards an Annual Pass. Simply visit Guest Relations.

In your case, you may keep your reservation as is, and once you establish residency in Florida, and new offers become available, you can call a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or your travel agent, to take advantage the new offers.

    See you real soon!
