We have reservations for the crystal palace on December 23 at 8:30 am. The park has magic hours starting at 7am. Can we still enter the park before it opens at 7? We were wanting the picture in front of the Castle.

    Hi Keri!

Extra Magic Hours is a wonderful perk afforded to guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It allows guest to enter the parks either one hour prior to general opening or remain in the parks two hours after general park closing. Guests are able to enjoy the attractions which are available at the time as well as take in the less crowded atmosphere. Our favorite thing to do is to arrive during EMH morning hours at Magic Kingdom, and have our photograph taken in front of Cinderella Castle, sans the crowds.

If EMH is slated for 7:00 am, you will be permitted to enter Magic Kingdom at that time. Unfortunately, they cannot allow guests into the park prior to this.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
