Hi - Have reservations at Crystal Palace @ 8:45am. To assure safe timing, how do I hail a cab (staying @ POR) that won't rip me off, as I heard horror stories. Also, how early can I arrive for my reservation -want to take advantage of the empty park!

    Hi Keith,

You will love eating at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore.  The breakfast buffet is fabulous.  My family usually eats there every time we visit the Walt Disney World.  If you would like to take a taxi, I would ask the Cast Members at the Valet Parking desk to get one for you and what the normal price it is to get to the Magic Kingdom from Port Orleans- Riverside.  Usually all of the taxis have a standard fee when going a specific distance.  I would actually just take the Disney bus transportation system.  The buses will start running an hour before the park opens.  It is recommended to check-in about 15 minutes prior to your reservation so showing up at the park around 8:20 am will give you plenty of time to take pictures and see the beauty of Cinderella's Castle in the morning light.  No attractions will be open unless there are early Extra Magic Hours the day you have the reservation.  I know you will have such a Magical day at the Magic Kingdom, Keith.  Say a big "Hi" from me to our friends from the Hundred Acre Woods!
