if i make reservations ahead of time for 4, if someone else wants to join us on the evening of the meal, can we add them on.

Hello Donna and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My initial answer to your question is:  it depends!  If the dining location is not fully booked and if they have a table available that seats five, then they will likely be happy to accommodate you. However, that is a lot of "ifs." In my experience, adding one to a group of four is fairly difficult as it requires a different table size than is reserved.  To be safe, you are better off reserving for five to insure you have no problem being seated.

If you have more planning questions, come on back- we love to help!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
