I have a reservation for the Star Wars Dessert Party in Valentine’s Day as a treat for my kids, however I keep hearing mixed reviews on this event. My boys are 5 and 7 so I think they will like it but am I better off to do a dinner out somewhere else?

Hello, Tara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I totally love your idea of a sweet Valentine’s Day surprise for your sons! Celebrating any holiday at Walt Disney Resort makes for particularly magical memories that last a lifetime! Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an action-packed experience that any Star Wars fan is sure to love! Guests in attendance are invited to Star Wars Launch Bay in order to enjoy a buffet filled with sweet and savory snacks, themed drinks exclusive to this dessert party, and alcoholic drinks for Guests over the age of 21 years. Also, make sure your sons are keeping an eye out for some of their favorite Star Wars characters. You never know who may be making a guest appearance at this event! Once everyone has had the chance to savor some refreshments, you will be escorted to an exclusive viewing area in order to watch both Disney Movie Magic and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. Guests will also take home a souvenir novelty so they can remember their fantastic adventure!

I would highly recommend this event for any Guest that is a fan of Star Wars. However, if you are interested in a more low-key Valentine’s Day celebration, I would suggest checking out Disney Floral and Gifts. This service delivers hand-assembled gifts to your Disney Resort hotel. All gifts can be customized to fit your needs and you can even build a custom gift package if none of their pre-selected items are to your liking!

Hopefully this information will help you decide on the best option for your family!
