I have a reservation for 2 at Sci-Fi Diner at Hollywood Park on 10/19/18 for dinner. However, I need to add a 3rd person to the reservation but no openings at this time. Can we walk up and still be seated with the extra person?

    Hi Cheryl,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm afraid your question didn't reach us in time to help with your current reservation but I hope the answer may help you with a future reservation.

Depending on the time of year and how busy a restaurant is, you may not be allowed to add someone to your dining party at the last minute. However, I have had some success with adding someone when our plans changed unexpectedly. If I were you, I would visit the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant as soon as they opened even if the reservation was later in the day. I would politely ask if another guest could be accommodated with our party. While the restaurant might have to decline, I believe giving them as much time as possible before your reservation and being polite when you ask gives you a much better shot at making the change.

Cheryl, I hope you found success during your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love watching the movie clips while dining on a delicious burger at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. And thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
    Wishing you a magical day,
    Amy H.
