Hello! I have a reservation for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing at MK. Once we've checked in for the dessert portion and had our fill, can we leave and re-enter in time for the show if we choose to do so? Is re-entry allowed?

Hi, Connie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you have made an Advance Dining Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park's Fireworks Desert Party! In my opinion, it really is the best, and most delicious way to experience Happily Ever After. My sister and I attended this party last summer and I plan to go with my family this summer. The desserts were all so wonderful, especially the macarons, which we firmly believe are made with pure pixie dust.

While the desserts and drinks are divine, the real star of this party is the reserved area in the Plaza Gardens! Having a spot saved for us with a practically perfect view of the nighttime spectacular absolutely made this party worth it for us. When we went, the viewing section was not very crowded and we were free to roam about and have a relaxing seat on the grass. It made for a such a pleasant evening and I look forward to enjoying it again soon!

Connie, once you finish your desserts, you are welcome to leave the Tomorrowland Terrace area for a bit. Just check with the hostesses on what time they recommend you return. When you do return, check back in with them at the podium, as a Cast Member will need to escort you to the reserved area for entrance. You should have enough time to use a FastPass+ selection for a nearby attraction or two, if you wish.

I hope you have a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip.
