Cinderella Royal Table

Hi! We have a reservation at Cinderella's Castle at 2:45 the day we arrive. Our plane lands at 10:30 am. Is this enough time to get to our hotel to get our magic bands, and make it into Magic Kingdom? Or should I try to change the reservation?

    Hi Shelby,

As soon as your plan lands at Orlando International Airport, you'll board your Disney's Magical Express bus and be on your way to so much magic and fun!

Once you disembark from your plane, you'll walk around 15-20 minutes to Side B, Level 1 where you'll check in at Disney's Magical Express. I usually allow at least a half an hour before I'm on the bus and it's on the way to the Walt Disney World Resort. Between the drive time and the time it takes to make multiple stops at different Disney Resort hotels, I count on 30-60 minutes for the bus ride itself. From there, you'll visit the front desk to complete your check-in and pick up your MagicBands, then leave any bags with Bell Services before catching a bus, boat, or monorail to Magic Kingdom Park. Without knowing for sure which Disney Resort hotel you're staying at, that trip could take up to 90 minutes when you factor in time to wait for a bus to come and traffic conditions. You'll also want to plan on at least 15 minutes or so to go through security and ticketing at Magic Kingdom Park and walk down Main Street U.S.A. to get to Cinderella Castle where your meal will be. In thinking through your itinerary, I think that as long as everything goes smoothly, you should be able to make your reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, but I'd say it's up to you whether you want to have to worry about making it there in time or not. There's always the possibility that a flight is delayed or there's a traffic issue causing a delay along the way. It's an incredible dining experience, though, so I'm sending some pixie dust that you'll be able to enjoy a royal meal there! Have a magical vacation!
