We have a reservation at Cape May Cafe for breakfast at 10.40 to meet all the beach characters, but we didn't realise that breakfast finishes at 11. Can we arrive early or will there be no point in going? Thank you.

    Hi Georgina,

While the last seating at the Cape May Cafe breakfast is at 11:00am, that doesn't mean that the fun stops at 11. The breakfast food and the characters will remain open and available until all the morning guests have had their fill. Often this happens somewhere around noon. You won't be rushed and you don't have to arrive early to take full advantage of the breakfast offerings.

I've actually had some of my best character meal experiences when dining near the end of a shift. As other guests finish their meals and leave the restaurant, the characters have more time an attention to spend with the guests who are still eating.

During one particular meal, my family was one of the very last to be seated at a character dining experience. Chip and Dale had almost no one else to interact with, so Dale ended up actually sitting with us while we ate. We had some terrific mime conversations with him.

Of course there's no guarantee that this will happen to you, but it does demonstrate that there can be advantages to having a late seating. There's no need to worry about your reservation time.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
