We have a reservation for 5, 4 adults and one 6 year old. The Yacht Club states room capacity is 5 adults. Can 5 adults and one child be permitted?

    Hello, Richard!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are so excited to help answer your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

First of all, Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a truly MAGICAL place to stay!  I have had the privilege of staying there several times, and it was amazing!  You are correct in saying that the state rooms will sleep up to five people.  Unfortunately, your six year old will be counted as one of the five people in your room and having more than five people staying in a room at this resort is not permitted.

If you now have six people in your party, you could always change your Disney Resort to a place that will accommodate more than five people.  In fact, here are some great ideas on the perfect place to stay for a party of six on any budget!

If you have other questions, please let us know!  We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
