I did some research on Space Mountain but noticed there are two tracks the Alpha and the Omega. is there a difference and can you explain which is the milder one and which is for more thrill seekers thanks

Hello, Sheri! Welcome to the Moms Panel! First, it is always great hearing from a fellow Texan! Oh, I simply LOVE Space Mountain! This attraction is the official kick-off for every one of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. It has been one of our family traditions for many years now. In my opinion there are no differences between the Alpha and the Omea side. In fact, if you ask a Cast Member, which I have on many occasions, they will tell you the same. I know there will be guests out there that may tell you different, but it may be something as small as a sharper turn. Two out of my three boys prefer the Omega side. When I inquire about it, they simply state that there is no difference, but is just the side they prefer. So, all you need to do is to head straight for Space Mountain once you arrive and grab a Fast Pass. Then enter the Stand-By line and enjoy. When you are ready to use your Fast Pass, chances are you will be placed on the other track. Simply try-out both tracks and you be the judge! Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel! Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We LOVE helping our guests plan for their vacation of a lifetime. May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories. ~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YA REAL SOON"!~
