Did some research on cabins in Fort Wilderness and have some questions. If we drive, I see there is parking at the cabin, however where can we drive and park our vehicle, i.e. pool, restaurants etc? Where can I find info about pricing of activities here?

Hi Linda! It sounds like you are considering staying at the Fort Wilderness Resort for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. My husband and I spend many days here when we bring our RV down for some fun in the sun weeks.

The cabins do indeed have parking space for two cars or a car and a golf cart. Unfortunately, you will not be able to park at the pools, Bike Barn or Pioneer Hall. This is when Renting a golf cart is a good idea and a lot of fun. You can use a golf cart to go just about anywhere in the resort and it is definitely quicker then taking an internal bus. Taking the internal buses or walking are your only other choices. The property is lined with sidewalks and you will always find guests using them to walk or ride their bikes from place to place.

There are indeed many fun things to do at this resort such as horseback riding, carriage rides, bike riding, archery, swimming and so much more. Check out the Resort Recreation Page to get current pricing on many of these activities. If you still have more questions please don't hesitate to ask me. I love this resort and call it my Disney home!
