We had to reschedule our trip from the week right after Thanksgiving, until the third week of December. The dates are the 13-21st. How crazy will the crowds be? My kids are older, so we do not care to swim, just want to enjoy the parks comfortably. thanks

Hello Mary!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I actually had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World twice last December.  The first trip I took was during your travel dates.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the crowd level.  It is actually a great time to visit in December.  I kept telling my friends that I couldn't believe how low the crowd levels were.  Now that is not to say the park wont be busy, Walt Disney World is always busy.  However, it was a very comfortable feel and the wait times were low.  I would suggest taking advantage of the FastPass+ and make your reservations for later in the day.  We took advantage of the Extra Magic Hours offered to Walt Disney World Resort Guests and were able to visit several attractions multiple times before there was a wait line.  In the afternoons, when the Parks tend to be more crowded, the FastPass+ was great to be able to ride some of our favorite attractions again with no wait.

You are going to have a magical vacation.  Walt Disney World is even more special at the holidays!  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
