Hi moms, we have res @Ohana@9am the morning we leave for a cruise, will we have enough time to eat and still catch the magical express to port? Also what's the best bus transfer from all star music resort to Ohana?TNA

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a wonderful surf and turf vacation you have planned for your family this March! As I read your question, I have a few things running through my mind that I want to share with you to make your land to sea transition as smooth and seamless as possible. If you've purchased ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line, you'll be picked up any time from late morning (possibly as early as 10:45 a.m.) until early afternoon (1:00 p.m. or so). Unfortunately, there is no way to know now what time this will be since pick-up scheduling is only planned a few days prior to departure. You'll receive notice of your Resort hotel's scheduled time usually the day before. And once you are assigned a time, you'll need to be at the pick-up location 15 minutes early. What makes me nervous about your plan is travel time to and from Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The best route using Disney transportation is a bus to Magic Kingdom then hopping on either the Resort Monorail or a boat. I would estimate between 60 and 90 minutes for each way so it may be cutting it close if you have a pick-up time on or before 11:00 or 11:30 a.m.

Your other option is to use another mode of transportation like a taxi or Uber to and from 'Ohana to save some time even though it would cost you an additional fee. Currently, the Minnie Van service is only operating at the Deluxe Resorts, but you could use one to travel back to the All-Star Music Resort for a quick return after you eat. Another option is to see if you could move your breakfast to an earlier time so you aren't worried about travel time and rushing through your meal with Lilo, Stitch and friends!

I hope I've helped, Jennifer. If we can answer any other questions, please write back.
