Is there a way to request a specific area in a hotel at Disney?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing us your question!

If you are hoping to get a room that is closer to dining, the lobby, and transportation, I recommend you book a preferred room. By doing so, you will at least ensure your room will be within the preferred area. Although requests for a specific area or in a particular building are not 100% guaranteed, simply because they solely depend on availability, you can add a note on your reservation by logging into your My Disney Experience app or by calling the Disney Reservation Center - dial +1 (407) 939-1936)- to let them know about your hopes. Once you arrive at your Disney resort for check-in, if you find out that your request was not honored, you may remind the Cast Member assisting you that you would like to be assigned a room in a specific area. They usually try to accommodate guests’ requests as much as they can, but you should keep in mind that it will depend on availability at the time you check in.

I hope this information is helpful in your planning. Please come back with more and more questions, we will be happy to help you make your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort as magical as it can possibly be.

    See you real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
