Is there a way to request a certain camping spot (for an RV) or are you just assigned one when you arrive?

Howdy, Tyler! “There’s a snake in my boot!” Oh, wait. No, that’s Woody’s boots, not mine! Fort Wilderness is a unique place to experience Walt Disney World from the comfort of your own RV. You’ll also find picnic tables, tents, and plenty of entertainment.

You’re my favorite deputy if you know about Online Resort Check-in already. It’s a great way to get the lay of your resort before you depart. You can check-in online using your My Disney Experience account, leaving you phone number for a text when you room or site is ready, as well as the ability to make room requests. It’s there that you will be able to leave a few sentences about campsite location, room additions or requests that you may have. You can ask to be near to transportation, grub or the Tri-Circle D area to watch the ponies! Of course, requests are never 100% guaranteed, but please know that Cast Members will do everything they can to make sure they are fulfilled. With online check-in, you can start the fun earlier, partner. Yee-haw! Don't fret if you haven't done online check-in, because you can always stop at the front desk, old-fashioned style!

Now as for entertainment at Fort Wilderness, it’s top notch! Though Woody may fear that “someone’s poisoned the waterhole,” you can rest assured that the drink and fare at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is mouthwatering good! Stop at Davy Crockett’s Tavern before the show for a themed cocktail and stroll across the dirt path to pin trade before your nightly entertainment begins. You’ve got a friend in me, so please come back and ask me another question! ~ Lindsey P.
