    RE:Princess Half Marathon. Jeff says do your maintenance runs on tue/thur & your longer runs on Saturday. I normally workout on mon/wed/fri & do 30 min weights/30 min cardio. Could I combine a maint run w/weights & do them mon/wed & long ru

    Hi Michelle! 

    You can definitely tweak the Galloway program to meet your needs.  I do my runs on Monday and Wednesdays, with my long runs on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on my sons' soccer schedules.  I do cross-training on Tuesday and Thursday, and sometimes I even throw in a long bike ride instead of a run!

    I just make sure to try and follow his long run plans. My long run may even end up being during the week, but I like to make sure I get the long mileage in, no matter what day I do it on.

    Galloway knows that things come up and schedules have to be adjusted.  Just be sure and take some rest days here and there to let your body recover!
