If this is a repeat question, please forgive me! :) Just renewed with premium passes. Are the water parks 'usable' for someone that can't really swim? Hubby can't swim well at all, but he's willing to try. How deep are the pools at the deepest? Thanks!

    Liza,

This is a difficult question, as everyone has their own idea of value. I happen to think there are many attractions that allow for swimmers and non-swimmers alike to enjoy. Many of the areas will allow you to wear a life vest which can be rented free of charge from either Park. While yes, the wave pools are rather deep on one end (probably about 10 feet at the deepest) there are so many other areas of the Parks with only 3-4 foot drop offs at the completion of the ride. An attraction like Humunga Kowabunga, for example, does not require any swimming skill but rather an iron stomach and a need for speed! The slide never empties into a pool at all. You'll simply drop 5 stories through the dark. Sound fun? It totally is! If you'd prefer to avoid the "thrills" you could enjoy a leisurely lazy river ride while basking in the sun, suited for all ages. If at any time your husband feels uneasy about an attraction, simply find a Cast Member to assure him of the depths. I think you both should visit the Water Parks, Liza, and I wish you a splash-tastic time. Thank you for visiting us!

    Best wishes,
