We are renting a stroller - do you recommend the Bob, Summit X3 or City Mini GT? Six year old celebrating 7th birthday there. 51 inches tall and 60 lbs

    Hi Stephanie!

It's wonderful to hear you are planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation and that you'll be celebrating. There isn't anywhere much more magical to spend a birthday.

I've rented many strollers over the years and think you'll find the Summit X3 the best option for your kiddo. At 60 pounds they're at the max for the City Mini GT model so I'd scratch that one off the list. Although 51 inches is above the recommended height for all three models, in my experience, the Summit X3 has the deepest seat, highest canopy and the larger wheels give extra room if their legs hang over a little. Due to these reasons, I think your child would find the most comfort out of the Summit X3 model and I like that I can fold it up with only one hand. When renting I recommend making sure the company you choose is one of Disney's Featured Providers. You can find the list on the stroller rental page of the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Don't forget to plan on a special cake to celebrate the big day. I mean what's a birthday without cake? Also, Disney Floral & Gifts offers some incredible gifts to help make their day extra special.

Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with, Stephanie, and have a magical trip.
