    Dominick from NJ Asked

I am renting DVC points for my upcoming stay. I thought I read somewhere that if I buy my park tickets anywhere but Disney I am unable to add the dining package? Thanks

    Hey there, Dominick!

The Disney Dining Plan may be added by the Disney Vacation Club member at any time prior to 48 hours before check-in at the Disney vacation club resort. There is no theme park ticket component to the dining plan for guests staying on DVC points, so it will not matter if you purchase your tickets through Disney or another authorized location.

Keep in mind that you will need theme park tickets if you choose to dine at any of the amazing Walt Disney World theme park dining locations. There just isn't a requirement to purchase the tickets in order to buy the dining plan.

    Happy planning!
