We rented a cabana at Blizzard Beach for our upcoming trip in July after seeing some recommendations from your panel and thought it was a great idea. Can you tell me what would be an appropriate amount to tip our cabana attendant?

    Hi Daniel:

Having a Cabana will be a treat for your family at Blizzard Beach.  You'll be provided with a cooler, towels, and an attendant who can help you throughout the day, such as by getting more towels or pickup up food and drinks for you.

Tipping is not required and many Disney employees will not accept a tip, so if you choose to tip and the gratuity is not accepted after multiple offers, don't be surprised.  If you choose to tip for exceptional service, it will depend on the services your attendant provided for your, such as bringing you towels or food.  One standard is to tip about 20% of the value of the food or a dollar or two per each towel.  But again, tipping is not necessary and may not be accepted even if offered.

    Enjoy your vacation.
