Are the rental strollers bottom storage big enough to put a diaper bag or soft cooler underneath?

Hi there, Eva, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited for your Disneyland Resort adventures to begin today! You are going to make so many magical memories!

Renting a stroller at the Disneyland Resort is a great way to give your little Mouseketeer a break throughout your Disney adventures. You can find Stroller Rentals located to the right of the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park, adjacent to the Kennel. Currently, both single and double strollers are available for rent on a daily basis. In terms of storage, the single, jogging-style stroller has a small basket underneath the stroller seat, in addition to a pocket behind the seat. So, it would depend on the size of your diaper bag and soft cooler, but I would imagine a small soft cooler would probably fit underneath the seat. As for the double tandem-style stroller, there is a small amount of storage space underneath the stroller, but that’s also where a child’s feet would go, so I don’t think a bag or cooler would fit underneath the double stroller.

If you find yourself needing more storage, you can always rent a locker daily on The Esplanade (the area between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park) or inside either theme park. Lockers are available in various sizes to fit your needs.

Also, if you’re looking for a stroller rental option that includes additional storage, you can rent a stroller from City Stroller Rentals, which is a local vendor of the Disneyland Resort. They offer several different styles of single and double strollers which fit within the Resort’s newest guidelines, and also offer ample storage. City Stroller Rentals can even deliver your stroller directly to your hotel room upon arrival.

Lastly, I checked the Disneyland Resort Rules, and wanted to let you know that bags, backpacks, and coolers can’t exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. Also, the Resort won’t allow loose or dry ice, so I’d recommend packing a re-usable ice pack instead.

I hope this helps you plan your exciting day ahead. Here’s the Entertainment Schedule for today, so you can start mapping out your magical itinerary!

    See ya’ real soon!
