Hi, We will have a rental car and I understand that parking is free since we are staying on property. If we take the bus to MK does it take us right to the gate? If we drive - do we need to park at TTC and take monorail? What about EMH is monorail open?

    Hi Monika,

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are correct, parking at Magic Kingdom is free if you are staying on property (be sure to have the parking pass displayed on your dashboard). If you opt to take the bus transportation provided at the Disney resorts, you will be dropped off very close to the gates of Magic Kingdom and would not need to take the monorail or ferryboat. If you opt to drive, you will be parking near the Transportation and Ticket Center and will be required to take the monorail or the ferryboat. Typically, when there are Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom, the monorails continue to run as well.

If I can help you with any other planning question, please feel free to ask!
