    Reina from CA Asked

If I am renewing my pass do I still have to do a down payment, or can it be factored into the monthly payment?

Hi, Reina, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m thrilled to hEAR that you’re planning to renew your Disneyland Resort Annual Passport! I hope you loving being part of the AP family – I know I sure do!

I have good news to report. When renewing your Annual Passport, your down payment is factored into your monthly payment. So, no additional down payment is needed. However, if you’d like to lower your monthly payment, you can choose to make another down payment at the time of your renewal at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths.

I’m also happy to let you know that renewing your eligible Annual Passport is now easier than ever thanks to the Disneyland app. With a few simple taps, you’ll be back on your way to making memories at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you’d prefer to use your web browser, you can still renew your AP on disneyland.com, or in person at a Main Entrance Ticket Booth.

Just keep in mind that a renewal must be done within 40 days of your AP expiration date. And don't forget to check out the many perks and benefits that come along with being an Annual Passholder!

I hope this helps. Wishing you another year of Disney magic!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
