    Cindy from IA Asked

If I renew my annual pass does the effective date go for a year from the date purchased or from the first time used in the new year?

    Hi there, Cindy!

It's great to hEAR from you again! I've recently purchased my first Walt Disney World Annual Pass, and I am loving all the fantastic perks and benefits of being a Passholder. It certainly was a special feeling knowing I could experience an entire yEAR of magic once my purchase was complete!

Cindy, you've asked an excellent question about when your Annual Pass renewal will be effective. I had the same question when I bought mine because I hope to be a Passholder for many yEARs! If you decide to renew your Annual Pass, your new pass will begin on the day your old pass expires. You can renew your pass up to 60 days before it expires or 30 days after, but the effective date will remain the same. There are three ways to enjoy another yEAR of magic at the Walt Disney World Resort. You have the option to renew your pass online, in person at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window, at Disney Springs Guest Relations, or over the phone (407) 560-7277.

I hope I've helped, Cindy. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder or about a future vacation you may be planning. It's a fabulous time to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth" right now with the holidays approaching and the newest land, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened for Guests. I know I can't wait to visit the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival next month, especially since I can pick up some of the exclusive fall offerings

Thank you again for stopping by!
