Mom With Kids After Run

Hello! I remember seeing something years ago about how if you have young children who are too young to ride a ride, you can wait in line while other members of your party go on the ride and then hand your child off and have your turn. Is this still done?

    Hi Rachel!

Yes indeed, this magical extra is called Disney's Rider Switch Service.  Take a look at the previously linked page to read all about the details of this wonderful service.  If you are traveling with young children unable to experience some of the rides, then this service will change how you vacation completely.  I have 4 children who are 10 years apart and the Rider Switch Service allows everyone who qualifies to enjoy the height restricted rides with ease.  An additional benefit of this service is that the Guest who waited with the non-rider is allowed to take another person with them on the attraction when it is their turn to switch.  If you ever see a Mom whose children are playing "Paper, Rock, and Scissors" outside of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster it is probably my kids vying to see who gets to ride a second time with Mom.

Have a MAGICAL vacation Rachel.  If we can answer any more Disney vacation planning questions, please come back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!
