In regards to the “youth clubs”, I have a daughter who will be 3 when we plan to take our cruise with Disney. Do the youth clubs allow the parents to bring the children to one of the age appropriate youth clubs so the parents can “sneak” away? TIA!

    Hi there, Amanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  You are in for a treat onboard the beautiful Disney Dream; with SO MUCH to do onboard, including, “Beauty and the Beast” which undoubtedly your three year old will LOVE, you will have the best time!

The onboard Youth Clubs are one of my family’s favorite amenities onboard!  My young boys love visiting and playing in the spaces that are perfect for their age group and my husband and I love getting some time to ourselves!  Because, honestly – it’s not always a “vacation” when traveling with kids!!  But, the Oceaneer Club and Lab give you the opportunity to enjoy some time sans kids and feel like you are on vacation!  And your daughter will be having a blast, so everyone wins!  Onboard there are two areas that your daughter will be old enough to attend (just make sure she is fully potty-trained) and you can certainly drop her off for secured programming (which means, she is officially checked in and only an authorized adult can check her out).

Definitely take advantage of the Youth Clubs – eat a kid-free dinner at Palo or Remy, go to the spa, relax by the adult-only pool, or even venture off ship while at port – she will be in perfectly good hands onboard and will be having so much fun she won’t even notice you are gone!  When you complete your Online Check-In, register her for the Youth Clubs so she will be set to go once onboard!

Please come back with any other questions you have as your planning continues!

    Happy Sailing!
