    Bonnie from LA Asked

With Regards to the Regular Dining Plan, if we use all of our quick service and have table service left, can we use the table service at quick service resturants?

    Hey, Bonnie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! November is going to be amazing with your month finale at Walt Disney World Resort. I know you will have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!

Yes, you may use a Disney Dining Plan Table Service entitlement for a Counter/Quick-Service meal but not the other way around. I would suggest not doing this because you will not get the full value of using the dining plan. Table Service meals are much more expensive than Counter/Quick-Service meals and to really get your value you should keep meal entitlements in their specific category.

Disney Dad Tip: If you find it difficult to make a Table Service reservation in advance then follow these tips.

    1. Make the reservation online over calling.
    2. Check availability weekly online through My Disney Experience or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
    3. Stay flexible. Search for times 30-60 minutes beyond your desired time and show up early. If there is availability you will likely be seated early.
    4. About 6 weeks out from your desired dining time people will begin canceling reservations. Most cancel between 8:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. This is prime time to pick up your desired reservation. Make sure to check daily.
    5. As a last resort, try to be taken as a walk-in. Cancellations happen at the last minute due to a variety of reasons and you'll be there to scoop up a table.

Bonnie, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
