Hi! In regards to a double stroller (one seat which will be the click in car seat for a super tiny one)... can you take a car seat in most places with you? I know the stroller stays, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to just pop the car seat out & carry in?

    Hi Tess!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are correct that strollers do spend a lot of time in stroller parking areas, which are usually located just outside of every Table Service Dining Location and attraction. I'm happy to share that bucket-style infant car seats that snap into strollers are absolutely allowed in all dining locations to sit in chairs or in booths; some restaurants even have the hammock-style seat that can hold the bucket like a high chair! Do note that while your babe is probably too young to even attempt to eat solid foods, they should be included in your dining reservation head count as they will be taking up a seat. Your tiny Mouseketeer should also be fine staying in the carrier during most stage shows.

If it were me, I'd bring a backup wearable baby carrier, too. While strollers are allowed in most Quick-Service Dining Locations, some indoor Counter Service options have been known to request that strollers wait outside during peak meal times. I encountered this once at Pinocchio Village Haus where a Cast Member was posted out front to notify guests of the change, which happened after the rest of my party was already inside and enjoying their meals. A wearable carrier would also come in handy for those stage shows that only offer bench seating, like Fantasmic!, as your options would be to put the bucket carrier on the ground, on the metal bench where people sometimes put their feet, or to hope that you could be seated in a reserved row with spaces for wheelchairs.

Bonus Tip: You can also babywear, or hold in your arms, your brand new Mouseketeer on all attractions listed as 'Any Height'. You truly can enjoy Walt Disney World Resort as a whole family!

We'll See You Real Soon, Tess!
