Hi Brian,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this
dining plan question to us!
I am delighted that you are considering using your dining plan to enjoy a signature-dining experience. You may certainly use two table-service entitlements from your dining plan for that meal. When you check-in to your resort hotel, all of your dining plan entitlements are loaded onto your account and you may use them in whichever order you choose. When we use the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, we always use some of our table-service entitlements to visit a few signature restaurants.
To make sure that I have planned for all of our dining plan entitlements, I always create a chart of our meals for each day and record the number of entitlements we will use for each meal. Remember that your entitlements are calculated per night of stay. If, for example, you have a party of four using the Disney Dining Plan for a six-night stay, you would receive 48 meals (24 quick-service and 24 table-service) in total. We typically do one meal on the day we arrive, one on the day we depart and the remaining meals on the in-between days. I like to be sure that we do not use all of our meals prior to departure day because it is quite nice to have one last meal before we board Disney's Magical Express.
Brian, as you consider those signature-dining experiences, remember to make
advanced dining reservations. Also, do not forget to use those snack entitlements. Our girls absolutely adore any kind of frozen treat when we travel in July or August. With careful planning, I trust you will have some spectacular dining experiences using the plan you have selected!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
