so in regards to my deluxe dining package is there a list somewhere of what is considered snack eligible, whether listed by park, price ect? Also I have read where you can supposedly use it for say Souvenirs (bag of Candy from Japan) or a soup at dinner?

James, you are speaking my language! Walt Disney World dining is my favorite topic, and I love to find people who share my interest!

You're in for some culinary treats with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. In addition to your three meals per day, you are also entitled to two snacks. My tip is to use these snack credits wisely. There are some mouth-watering Disney snacks out there (I'm thinking about those Cheeseburger Spring Rolls in Magic Kingdom Park right now), so don't use a snack credit on things like bottled water or a banana- just pay out of pocket for these. Since menus change so frequently, there isn't a published master list of all the Disney snack items. However, when you go to a Quick Service location at any of the Parks, any item on the menu that is considered to be a snack will have a small purple box beside it with the letters DDP inside. If you decide to use Mobile Ordering (and I highly recommend you do), the app will indicate which items are snack credit eligible before placing your order. Soups, like the Tomato Basil from Pinocchio Village Haus, are often considered snacks if they are listed as a side.

If you have extra at the end of your trip, you can use snack credits on certain Pre-Packaged Treats. The Mitsukoshi Department Store is one exception, however, since they are a branch of an actual Japanese department store. My favorite snack stop in Epcot is Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion for their caramel popcorn. It looks like your trip might coincide with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  If so, this is the ultimate place to use those credits!

    Happy snackin', James!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
