Regarding Resort Airline Check-in - my airline, US Airways, will allow me to pay checked baggage fees when I check-in online 24 hrs before departing. Can I still use RAC if I do that? Do I still need to call ahead of time to Baggage about the checked bags?

    Hi there Mary,

I just love how Disney has sewn up all of the little details so that you have more time to enjoy your vacation with less time needed to worry about the small stuff such as getting that luggage back to the airport on check-out day!

You will receive a packet from Magical Express a few weeks prior to your vacation and it will outline all of the details for you, but in the meantime, I am am here and happy to help!  If you are flying with on of the participating airlines, (Air Tran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Northwest, United, or US Airways) you will be able to take advantage of Disney's Resort Airline Check-in Service and in order to pay for your checked baggage you'll need to contact Baggage Guest Services at (407) 284-1231 at least 3 hours prior to your departure time (and during operating hours of 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily).  During this call, you'll be able to pay your airline's baggage fees in advance using your credit card as fees cannot be collected at the Resort Check-in Desk.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
