Regarding race-day logistics for the Royal Family 5k (starting 6:15), family reunion breakfast (from 7-9) and kids races (starting 9:15): Will my preschool kids be happy sitting at breakfast for 2 hrs waiting for their race start? How to plan the morning?

    Hi, Carolyn!

I hope you are getting excited for Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend! It sounds like you are making this fairytale event a family affair- how enchanting!

With concerns regarding the waiting your children will have in the morning before their race event, I really think they will enjoy their time at the breakfast. Not only will there be characters to meet and greet, but they will also be able to enjoy the Kiddie Corner, an area set up just for them. Here they will be able to find pint sized chairs as they relax and enjoy one of Disney's many feature films. Additionally, you will want to head over to the starting zone of the Kids' Races at least 20-30 minutes prior to their 9:15am start time, as they usually begin lining the children up several minutes before actually race time. It was an excellent idea to add the breakfast- your wait between races will fly by. I hope this information helps you as you plan and prepare for an exciting morning of race events. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have.

    Have a magical race!
