Regarding the Mediterranean cruise, where does the cruise dock in Venice? I assume it will be fairly easy to navigate around Venice. So even if we don't pull right up to Saint Mark's Square, it's accessible? Thanks!

Hi Susan! Sailing on the Disney Magic through the gorgeous Mediterranean this summer is sure to be a memorable trip. I'm excited for you to experience this cruise!

Venice is a new port for Disney Cruise Line this year, and will surely be a popular one for guests. The Magic is set to dock at Venezia Terminali Passeggeri. Tendering is not required at this port, which makes disembarkation, as well as re-boarding the ship, that much faster!

Though you won't be pulling right up to St. Mark's Square, Venice does offer public transportation called vaporetti. These are water buses and they run every 15 minutes and go pretty much everywhere in Venice. You can expect to pay about 3.5 to 5 Euro per ride.

Don't forget to check out Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures, many of which incorporate a visit to St. Mark's Basilica. Disney makes it very easy to see many of the popular sights while avoiding lines and even getting special access, so take a look and see if one of the adventures looks right for your family!

Have fun as you continue to plan this magical adventure, Susan!
