Do you have any recommendations for getting a fast pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom? I was not able to get one when we booked our fast passes. We arrive in Disney on October 6th. Thanks!

    Hi Maria,

Your magical vacation is less than two months away, and I bet you're getting SO EXCITED to see all of this planning come to fruition and experience your Disney dreams coming true!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some trouble finding FastPass+ availability for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It is the most difficult FastPass+ to score at Magic Kingdom Park, but I'd be happy to share a few tips to help you enjoy the attraction with the shortest wait possible. First, don't give up searching for FastPass+ availability. Guests change their plans all the time, and you never know when something will open up. Sometimes you can even find availability the day of, so to play on Dory's words, just keep checking, just keep checking! Another strategy is to split your party into smaller groups. For example, you might not be able to find a FastPass+ time for a group of four, but if you search for a party of two, maybe you'll find something. If you do that and have luck, you could either find an overlapping time for the rest of your group or try to modify that selection to include additional Guests.

If all else fails and you aren't able to use the FastPass+ service for this attraction, I'd recommend arriving an hour before the theme park opens so that you'll be ready to be one of the first Guests in line. Since you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll also be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours or even extra, Extra Magic Hours where crowd levels are much smaller and wait times should be shorter. If you've purchased tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, that could be another great time to enjoy it without as long of a wait. The great news is that even if you do have to wait a bit, there are a ton of fun, interactive elements in the queue, so the wait really isn't so bad.

Thanks so much for bringing us another great question, Maria, and please feel free to keep them coming. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation this fall!
