Would you recommend visiting the week before Easter in 2015, the third week of June, or the third week of August? We are looking at both crowd levels and temperatures. Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

That's a tough one, and it really depends on which element is most important to you -- lower crowds or lower temperatures. The week before Easter is typically one of the busiest of the year, so of the three times you mentioned, it likely would be the most crowded. On the other hand, the weather in March is extremely moderate, usually with highs about 80, lows in the upper 50s and relatively low humidity.

The weather in June and August is similar -- highs in the low 90s, lows in the low 70s and relatively high humidity. You also have a good chance of afternoon thunderstorms in both months, though they are usually short-lived. June is the rainiest month in Central Florida.

Walt Disney World considers early June to mid-August as the busy summer season. Crowds start to build right after Memorial Day as schools begin to dismiss for the summer and taper off considerably about August 15 as schools begin to open across the country. So, of the two summer months, August likely would have slightly lower crowds than June, especially if you can visit later in the month.

I hope that gives you a little more information to make your decision. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please let us know what else we can do to help as you make your plans!
