Hello - Would you recommend using a Fast Pass for Wishes or other Parades? Is it worth it or is it better to utilize a FP+ for a ride (we have 3 days at MK during Thanksgiving week)? Do you get good seating or is it standing room only? Thanks!

    Hi Kelly,

Thank you for your great question! I should preface my answer by stating not all guests have been provided the option to "FastPass" fireworks or parade viewing. In my recent experience, I was only offered attractions as FastPass+ options. If you see the options in your My Disney Experience account, congratulations on becoming a test participant in MyMagic+!

I've answered this question a few times now, and I've continued to encourage guests to utilize their FastPass+ on headliner attractions like Toy Story Midway Mania! or Test Track, for example. However with heavier crowds during a holiday week and the flexibility of selecting attractions on your other 2 days in Magic Kingdom, I think it would be a good use of your FastPass+ to select preferred viewing for Wishes nighttime spectacular. Although always subject to change, I have heard the Wishes viewing area is located in the Rose Garden ... what a magnificent spot to view the fireworks. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this choice.

The 3:00 parade can be seen from so many locations throughout Magic Kingdom. Depending on how important it will be to your travel party to view the parade from a perfect spot like the Castle hub, it may or may not be advantageous to utilize another FastPass+. If it were me traveling during Thanksgiving, I'd select Wishes only and do my best to catch the parade over the three days in Magic Kingdom without FastPass+.

I hope my answer was helpful, Kelly. Send me any other questions coming to mind. I'm delighted to help you plan a magical vacation.
